Brazilian Flag (FIFA)
The Brazil Flag was adopted on May 12th, 1992. The center piece stand for the night sky and the stars for the constellations Virgin, Water Snake, Scorpio, Southern Triangle, Octant, Southern Cross, Keel of Argo, and Greater Dog and Smaller Dog. The 26 stars for the 26 Brazilian states and the 27th star stands for the Federal District. The green and yellow stands for the forest and the minerals.
