The Oregon Flag was adopted on February 26th, 1925. Underneath the state arms is the date that Oregon was admitted to the Union. The 33 stars show it was the 33rd state in the Union. The eagle shows protection. On the back of the Oregon Flag is beaver, one of the many animals native to Oregon.
